Dubl in my mind
Dublin...Capital of the country of Guiness (my goodness...), Dublin vibrates day and night, never stops running, colored by thousands of people for who the time seems to stop for few moments, like me.
Lovely week-end with my dear, B§Bs, long walks between the churches and red briks, a stop in the park, a beer taken on the window of a pub in Temple Bar, staring at people going nowhere, forgetting for a while the daily routine of our studies-party-sleeping. The feeling is pure over there, people are warm and welcoming, the guiness is smooth and the air smells the liberty.
One of my favourite city so far.
Today is much harder, back to Lund and the reality of assignments and presentations, mixed with a feeling of being pissed off by everything and everyone, when one more time, the problem is not everything and everyone, but me. Damn it! I'd like to run away, very far, with nothing to do right now, nothing to think of. Just have a little piece of freedom.
Segolene Royal made it. She is on the second tour of the presidential elections. Sarkozy seems to have a huge advantage, but I still believe and hope she will make it. Anyway, a good step for France: the debate among which democracy is based is back. Only 15 % of absention (the lowest score for the fifth Republique !!!), two opposite candidates on the second tour. Yes, France has made a huge step. Will promises be kept in two weeks, that's another story.
All my support for you Sego!
